What does a former captain of the Colombian cartel do when he gets out of prison? He gets dragged into a spectacular, edge of your seat roller coaster ride of shear survival and international intrigue! “Sangre de Agua Ardiente [Blood of Ardent Water] ” is best described as “Romancing the Stone” meets “Traffic” in the style of Sam Peckinpah‘s “The Wild Bunch“. The story of a man, released after 30 years in a Colombian prison. The classic Hollywood yarn totally unraveled to its individual strands. When a man discovers that his dream of living the rest of his days in relative peace and obscurity was nothing but that. A dream. Instead, he finds that his past can never escape him and now all that is left is his last great adventure. The last good fight of his life.
