Managing Director, Founding Member

Vic Rosa, Managing Director / Writer/Producer/Director is responsible for Sales and Sales Engineering/Marketing.  He also manages the day to day activities and Produces most of the in-house projects.   A gifted writer and film historian, his passion and goal driven demeanor has helped maintain AVPLLC throughout the years.

 

Jay EspinalJuan (Jay) Espinal
Director of Operations, Founding Member

Jay Espinal, Director of Operations/ Director of Photography is responsible for the production and post-production workflow. He brings to AVPLLC  more than 10 years of experience behind the camera as Dp and editor working with clients from VH1 to Smirnoff Vodka. Before joining AVPLLC, Jay worked as a freelance editor/Dp for top clients where his eye for detail and creative thinking put him on the radar of Mr. Rosa. Both men have come together to form AVPLLC. Jay holds a BS in Media Arts & Animation.

Bennett FidlowBennett Fidlow

Bennett Fidlow focuses mainly on television, home video, film and theater.  Fidlow began his career in Los Angelesat one of the premier entertainmentlaw firms in the country, Bloom, Dekom & Hergott (the firm’s name has since changed).  He worked with the firm’s high-profile clientele, specializing in film and television writer and producer deals.  During his tenure at Bloom, he represented a writer deal for the film“Pacific Heights” with Michael Keaton.  The writer used Fidlow’s name for the unscrupulous attorney in the film. “I got calls from people I hadn’t heard from in years,” Fidlow said, laughing.  Later he worked in executive positions for Republic Pictures and MGM/United Artists.  Fidlow served as part of Sony’s legal team during its acquisition of MGM and on NBC’s legal team when the network merged with Vivendi/Universal.  Fidlow also worked with Mandalay Pictures on “The Score” with Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando.  His clients include television star Cloris Leachman and director and producer John Singleton.  It was when Fidlow was preparing to move from Los Angeles to Richmond that executives at Universal Studios suggested he call Schroder.  The two met at Hamburger Hamlet in Beverly Hills and struck a deal to go out on their own.  “Bennett was the classic Hollywood lawyer in terms of his contacts and connections,” Schroder said.

Schroder has a diverse entertainment law practice that includes literary publishing.
Schroder was legal counsel for the series and had negotiated deals with Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.  “At the time, Gorbachev’s wife was ill.  It came down to the wire as to whether he was going to get on the plane to come to Virginia,” Schroder recalled.  Schroder, who was recently elected chairman-elect of the American Bar Association Entertainment and Sports Law Section, is one-half of the two-man law firm Schroder Fidlow PLC.  Schroder and partner Bennett Fidlow specialize in entertainment law.

Brian is a 4 Time Oscar® Nominated, Emmy® award winning makeup artist working professionally since 1989 as a freelance artist and through his company, Gamut Studios. Several major Hollywood makeup effects companies and production studios have taken advantage of his extensive knowledge and experience as a character effects designer and project manager.

The scope of his artistry can be seen in film and television projects such as Syriana, Ali, Son of the Mask, Big Momma’s House 1 and 2, VanHelsing, The Passion of the Christ, Friends, Will and Grace, Friends and many others. Brian’ work on David Fincher’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, helped nab the BAFTA and Oscar for Best Makeup.   Most currently, Brian was a part of the Makeup FX crews for JJ Abrams addition to the Star Trek franchise, McG’s Terminator : Salvation, Cirque du Freak, Cabin in the Woods, and the latest installment in the “Twilight Saga” – Breaking Dawn.  He has worked (on and) with, the top film stars of today.

 

Keith Holland Director / Cinematographer (Hollywood)
Keith began his career in film as a visual-effects cameraman, working at Pinewood Studios and Shepperton Studios in England. He worked on a number of major motion pictures, including, Superman 1 & II, Moonraker (James Bond), The Keep, Saturn 3, and The Neverending Story. Keith came to the U.S. in 1985 and continued working as a visual-effects cameraman. He has worked on many commercials, feature films including, Dr. Dolittle, Batman & Robin, Armageddon and Face Off, and music videos for Janet Jackson, Journey and Seal.

As a Director of Photography, Keith has shot more than 20 features. These include Neon City, Blind Heat, Losing Grace, Carnosaur, Fever Lake and Ordinary Madness, which won an award for Best Thriller at the New York Film Festival.
